KENNETH COLE® NEW YORK AT VISION EXPO EAST 2005
Featuring the Kenneth Cole Launch Party and In-Booth Promotions
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – (April 4, 2005) – Marcolin USA, Inc. is pleased to announce great success launching Kenneth Cole New York at Vision Expo East 2005.
Marcolin welcomed over 400 customers and guests to the Kenneth Cole Launch Party, held at the Kenneth Cole store at Rockefeller Center on Saturday, March 12, 2005. The party featured many activities for guests, including festive palm readers and fortunetellers, to name a few. In addition to the party’s planned festivities, all guests received a 20% in-store shopping discount privileges and Kenneth Cole tote bags, complete with Kenneth Cole sunglasses and additional retail shopping discount cards for future use at all Kenneth Cole stores nationwide.
In addition to hosting a successful launch party, Marcolin was thrilled at the traffic drawn inside their newly designed Kenneth Cole booth, as a result of many in-booth promotions. A drawing for a $500 Kenneth Cole shopping gift card was held on Saturday, March 12. The lucky winner was Toni Dozack, the wife of Marcolin customer Dr. Dave Dozack. Mrs. Dozack enjoyed spending her winnings at the Launch Party later that evening. Also given away to customers in the Kenneth Cole booth were several autographed copies of Footnotes, Kenneth Cole’s first-person account describing his rise from an up-and-coming shoe designer selling his wares out of the back of a truck to running a multi-billion dollar fashion company.
To draw vision and inspiration for the design of the Kenneth Cole Vision Expo East booth space, Marcolin’s design team visited the Kenneth Cole Productions headquarters in New York City. Walking through the Kenneth Cole showrooms, talking with in-house designers, and taking many pictures painted a conceptual picture - a picture utilizing the materials, finishes, aesthetics, and forms that the Kenneth Cole brand is known for and transforming it into the unique storefront booth experience seen at this year’s show.
