Since 1991, when Miss Sixty launched the first women's jeans collection (completely thought and designed for the feminine body), the brand’s attention is focused on denim, looking for continuous innovation, originality and variety. Creative Director of Miss Sixty and co-founder of the Sixty Group, Wichy Hassan, had a remarkable inspiration: “The 70's and art, especially the art in the 70's: Warhol, Haring. Lots of colors and graphics. The contemporary arts—it's very important, a big influence. Especially the modern artists; they found new solutions for form, color, combination of graphics. It gave me a lot of energy.”From that inspiration Miss Sixty was born. A fun and sexy modern take on the feminine forms that made women feel free and vibrant in the 60’s and 70’s. Today that inspiration has taken a small Italian based jeans company and transformed it into this generation’s must have styles from clothing to eyewear.In 2001 Miss Sixty began expanding it horizons in the accessories side of fashion, licensing an eyewear line with Marcolin designed to take the brand to the next level of its global domination. The Miss Sixty glasses are large in size, with enveloping fronts and retro lines which are cardinal elements in the new line of eyewear. The designs are simple acetate frames that let the color make the statement of the wearer.
